Introducing Sebastian - Q & A with our new business development manager - Spain
We’re excited to welcome Sebastian to the Watershed team as our new Business Development Manager for Spain. With over two decades of experience in the packaging industry and a real passion for building lasting client relationships, Sebastian is already making waves. We caught up with him to learn more about his background, what drew him to Watershed, and a few fun facts, including his love of asados, Malbec, and his new favourite role: dad.

Where were you working before joining us?
I’ve worked in the printing industry for over 20 years, with both my education and career focused on the packaging sector — particularly in sales and customer relationship management. It’s a field I’m truly passionate about. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the opportunity to support brands in developing their packaging, while delivering reliable service and building strong, long-term partnerships with clients across a wide range of projects.
What’s your new role here at Watershed?
I’ve joined Watershed as Business Development Manager for Spain, where my focus is on introducing and expanding the market for Watershed’s packaging solutions and machinery. I work closely with customers to understand their specific needs and offer tailored, high-quality packaging solutions. I’m really looking forward to helping grow the brand’s presence in Spain and building meaningful, lasting partnerships.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
From my very first meetings, it was clear that Watershed is a family-run business with an exceptional team that genuinely values collaboration and teamwork. I felt welcomed right away. I’m excited to contribute by developing new opportunities in the Spanish market, forming strong relationships with customers, and being an active part of this supportive, driven team.
Any fun facts or hobbies you’d like to share?
As a proud Argentine, I love making asados (barbecues) outdoors and sharing them with family and friends. I’m passionate about good food and wine, especially a glass of Argentine Malbec!
This past year, I’ve also discovered the joy of spending time with my baby son. Exploring new activities together has quickly become one of the most rewarding parts of my life outside of work.
And since many in the Watershed team are keen golfers, I guess I’ll need to work on my swing soon, or at least be ready to join in at the 19th hole!
