The Label Store Acquisition

Watershed have announced the acquisition of The Label Store based in Beverley, Hull in Yorkshire. The Label Store is a strategic addition to Watershed, extending their range of barcode printers and ribbons and label design software. Visit The Label Store

The Label Store, opened in 1983, built up an enviable client list including Boots, B&Q, Harrods and Alcan Packaging and offered a range of specialist services including barcode audits and independent ISO barcode verification.

We visit ARCA for a refresher on full product range

Watershed Packaging Ltd., already established business partner in
UK took the chance for a refresher on Arca full product range and to
visit our new premises for the first time.

BRC/IOP Accreditation
Wales

Following our annual BRC IOP audit we have re gained accreditation in our site in Blackwood Wales July 2009

The Head Office site in Leeds also regained the Accreditation in February 2010

BRC/IOP Packaging
Standard

Watershed Packaging has now gained the BRC/IOP Packaging Standard at its Head Office in Leeds. This now mirrors Watershed’s manufacturing site in Wales. The food packaging standard will enable Watershed to increase access to new markets whilst enhancing the supply chain to our existing Blue Chip Customers.

Gaining accreditation to the standard underlines Watershed’s commitment to improving our quality and service as a forward thinking Company.

Head Office Extension

Once again Watershed is expanding at its head office in Leeds. Following two large warehouse and manufacturing extensions over the past three years Watershed are now extending and totally refurbishing there Sales and Administration offices in Leeds. The new extension and refurbishment will allow Watershed to continue to grow and achieve our five year strategy.

Aurora bought by Watershed

Watershed Packaging has bought troubled print and packaging firm Aurora Colors, after it went into administration last month. The Caerphilly, Wales-based firm is understood to have suffered from a “poor trading year” which led to its downfall and the loss of five staff....
